Tethered

A young inventor travels to the sky in the balloon of an aeronaut to test his latest invention. What he discovers has more to do with his passion for music than his scientific legacy.
Every once in a blue moon, you'll read a script that pulls you in, that makes you laugh, cry, then laugh again, that inspires the inner child we often hide to come out and play. With TETHERED's whimsical charm, and beautiful parable about being an artist, I was hooked from the first draft.
I was so honored when my producing partner Ilayda Yigit offered a producing position to me. How could I turn down such an awesome story -- one that involves music, adventure, and of course, hot air balloons. It was a joy to produce alongside Ilayda, and to bring director Beth Fletcher's vision to life. 
The most beautiful part of working on TETHERED was learning, along with the characters, how contagious hope can be. That at the end of the day when you have nothing, you'll always have your passions to fall back on. And it's a precious reminder to follow our dreams with ferocity, even when they feel silly.
